Ion Channel — Software Supply Chain Dashboard
Frontend work on a security intelligence platform: dependency health, repository metrics, and user & feature management at a glance.
Overview
Ion Channel analyzes the software supply chain — the open-source dependencies, repositories, and pipelines that modern products are built on. As a front-end engineer I worked on the dashboard experience that turns that firehose of security data into something teams can actually act on.
What I built
- Four greenfield applications: search for active packages & repositories, a package & repository metrics page, a project dashboard, and multiple user & org management pages
- Migration of the platform to GraphQL and React Context, improving efficiency and maintainability
- Front-end performance gains through caching with Graphcache
- Automated testing CI/CD pipelines to protect front-end code integrity

Screens from the production dashboard; customer identifiers redacted.
Beyond features
I assisted in migrating legacy code to an Nx monorepo, led code reviews with constructive feedback, and mentored a junior engineer through pair programming and code review — improving both their coding skills and project management.
